Fighter

The fighter class is the basic tank/melee class. They excel in physical defense, have the highest HP’s of the four classes, and are needed in any group that plans on getting through dungeons quickly and with as few as death as possible. Fighters run in to battle full force knowing they will be giving as much trouble as they will be getting.

Fighters have two main skill branches: Rush Strike (DPS) and Guard Core (Tank). The Rush strike tree will make you hit harder, faster, and for longer, while Guard Core tree will make you better suited to get aggro, hold aggro and mitigate damage.

Armor: All but cloth

Weapons: Hand, Dagger, 1h Sword, 2h Sword,1h Axe, 2h Axe, Spear, 1h Club, 2h Club, Small Shield, Shield and Large Shield.

Starting Statistics: STR +2, VIT +1, INT -1

Rush Core (DPS Tree)

Bash – 7 ranks (LVL 1, 1, 1, 5, 5, 8, and 15) no perquisites, 1st rank free on character creation.

OD: 50, Casting Time 0, Recast Time 5: Unleashes a single powerful hit with your full might. Ranks increase damage done.

Leg Bash – 7 ranks (LVL 2, 2, 2, 6, 6, 9, and 16) must have spent at least one point in Bash.

OD: 50, Casting Time 0, Recast Time 10, Effect Time 7: Decreases movement speed of target, if used after Bash bonus damage is applied, higher ranks increase duration and/or damage.

War Cry – 7 ranks (LVL 3, 3, 3, 8, 9, 14, and 21) must have one skill point in Leg Bash.

OD: 0, Casting Time 0, Recast Time 180, Effect Time 30: Increase the strength of all party members in area. Recovers OD for neutrally aligned players, higher ranks increase duration and/or lowers recast time.

Round Sweep – 7 ranks (LVL 4, 4, 4, 9, 10, 15 and 22) must have one skill point in Leg Bash.

OD: 50, Casting Time 0, Recast Time 45: With one sweep a blade of air is unleashed, damaging all those nearby. Strength is increased for lawfully aligned characters, higher ranks increase damage done and/or recast time.

Max Weight Increase (Passive) – 7 ranks (LVL 8, 8, 8, 13, 15, 20, and 27) must have one skill point in War Cry.

Increases max carry weight, higher ranks increase weight limit.

Head Bash – 7 ranks (LVL 5, 5, 5, 10, 12, 17 and 24) must have one skill point in War Cry.

OD: 0, Casting Time 0, Recast Time 15, Effect Time 7: Decrease physical attack power of target, if used after Leg Bash will increase strength. Higher ranks will increase physical attack drain and/or lower recast and/or lower effect time.

Guard Crush – 7 ranks (LVL 7, 7, 7, 12, 14, 19, and 26) must have one skill point in War Cry.

OD: 50, Casting Time 0, Recast Time 30, Effect Time 30: Breaks targets guard with a powerful strike. Increase Strength for Chaotic characters. Higher ranks increase damage done and/or lower recast time.

Power Charge – 7 ranks (LVL 8, 8, 8, 13, 15, 20, and 27) must have one skill point in Round Sweep.

OD: 0, Casting Time 0, Recast Time 150, Charge Time 11: Allows player to charge for a fixed time and then unleash one powerful attack. Players are unable to move while charging. Higher ranks increase damage done and/or lower recast time and/or lowers charge time.

Physical Attack Increase (Passive) – 7 ranks (LVL 18, 22, 28, 35, 41, 50, 61) must have one skill point in Head Bash.

Increases Physical Attack. Higher ranks increase it even more.

Desperado – 7 ranks (LVL 20, 20, 20, 25, 28, 32, and 40) must have one skill point in Guard Crush.

OD: 0, Casting Time 0, Recast Time 180, Effect Time 180: Greatly Decreases physical defense but massively increases physical attack. Higher ranks increase physical attack buff received.

Shock Wave – 7 ranks (LVL 13, 13, 13, 18, 21, 26, and 34) must have one point in Power Charge.

OD: 50, Casting Time 0, Recast Time 30: Unleashes a shock wave that damages enemies. Higher ranks increase damage and/or lowers recast time.

Voltage – 7 ranks (LVL 27, 27, 27, 33, 36, 42 and 52) must have one skill point spent in Physical Attack Increase.

OD: 0, Casting Time 0, Recast Time 280, Effect Time 30: Increase max OD for a fixed period of time. Higher ranks increase max OD and/or lower recast and/or increases effect time.

Piercing – 7 ranks (LVL 28, 28, 28, 34, 37, 43, and 53) must have one point spent in Desperado.

OD: 50, Casting Time 0, Recast Time 60: Ignores a certain percentage of the target’s defense value when attacking. Higher ranks increase amount of armor ignored and/or lowers recast time.

Guard Core (Tanking Tree)

Defend Stance – 7 ranks (LVL 1, 1, 1, 1, 5, 8, and 15) no perquisites, 1st rank free on character creation.

OD: 0, Casting Time 0, Recast Time 180, Effect Time 180: Decrease physical attack, increases physical defense. Higher ranks increase physical defense and effect time.

Provoke – 7 ranks (LVL 3, 3, 3, 7, 7, 10 and 17) must have one skill point spent in Defend Stance.

OD: 0, Casting Time 0, Recast Time 3: Provokes enemies, drawing their attention. Higher ranks increase chance of success and/or lowers recast time.

Sentinel Guard – 7 ranks (LVL 2, 2, 2, 6, 6, 9 and 16) must have one skill point spent in Defend Stance.

OD: 0, Casting Time 0, Recast Time 180, Effect Time 180 Decreases GP damage when guarding. Higher ranks decrease GP damage mitigated and/or lower recast and/or increases effect time.

Self Heal – 7 ranks (LVL 1, 3, 6, 10, 15, 20, and 30) must have one skill point spent in Defend Stance.

MP: 10, Casting Time 0, Recast Time 120: Recovers your HP. Higher ranks increase healing done and/or lower recast.

Hate Increase (Passive) – 7 ranks (LVL 5, 5, 5, 10, 11, 16 and 23) must have one skill point spent in Provoke.

Increase the max amount of hate accumulated. Higher ranks increase max hate amount.

Physical Defense Increase (Passive) – 7 ranks (LVL 6, 12, 20, 29, 30, 38 and 47) must have one skill point spent in Sentinel Guard.

Increase Physical Defense. Higher ranks further increase Physical Defense.

Avenge – 7 ranks (LVL 4, 4, 4, 9, 10, 15, and 22) must have one skill point spent Sentinel Guard.

OD: 50, Casting Time 0, Recast Time 120, Effect Time 10.0: Stores damage received and returns it with the next attack. May cause characters of chaotic alignment to faint. Higher ranks increase max stored damage and/or lower recast and/or increases effect time.

Rage – 7 ranks (LVL 10, 10, 10, 15, 17, 22 and 29) must have one skill point spent in hate Increase.

OD: 0, Casting Time 0, Recast Time 180, Effect Time 30: Increase OD received on damage over a fixed period of time. For neutral characters, damage will be cut. Higher ranks increase max OD received and/or lower recast and/or increases effect time.

GP Recovery (Passive) – 7 ranks (LVL 11, 11, 11, 16, 18, 23 and 30) must have one skill point spent in Physical Defense Increase.

Increase the amount of GP recovered at one time. Higher ranks increase amount of GP recovered.

Increase of Resistance to Mental Status (Passive) – 7 ranks (LVL 21, 21, 21, 26, 29, 34, and 42) must have one skill point spent in Physical Defense Increase.

Increase resistance to mental status. Higher ranks increase resistance to mental status.

Offensive Guard – 7 ranks (LVL 22, 22, 22, 27, 30, 35 and 43) must have one skill point spent in GP recovery.

OD: 0, Casting Time 0, Recast Time 360, Effect Time 90: Increase attack power following a successful guard. Higher ranks increase max attack power and/or lower recast and/or increases effect time.

Over Use – 7 ranks (LVL 20, 20, 20, 25, 28, 33 and 41) must have one skill point spent in GP Recovery.

OD: 0, Casting Time 0, Recast Time 150, Effect Time 60: Sacrifices HP to greatly increase physical and magic defense. Enables Super Armor effect for Lawful characters. Higher ranks increase physical/magic defenses and/or lower recast and/or increases effect time.

HP Max Increase (Passive) – 7 ranks (LVL 31, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60) must have one skill point spent in Increase Resistance to Mental Status.

Increase max HP. Higher ranks increase max HP Further.

Iron Shell – 7 ranks (LVL 32, 32, 32, 38, 41, 47 and 57) must have one skill point spent in Over Use.

OD: 0, Casting Time 0, Recast Time 300, Effect Time 5.0: You will become unable to move or act, but most damage will be reduced to 1. Higher ranks lowers recast and/or increases effect time.
