EXPLOSION AT JAIL LEAVES NUMEROUS DEAD… REPEATEDLY
Shady Path – Recent discovery of the Killing Machine outside of Illfalo Jail last week led to successive deaths and some confusion among several inmates. Sagan the Wise, jailed at the time for allegedly assaulting a mage, reported that shortly before the explosion the phrase “Killing Machine Activated!” was broadcast in the area, followed by a countdown leading to the devastating event.

According to locals, the Killing Machine is an inexpensive, repeatable detonator used for exacting revenge on criminals and, in some cases, trolling friends.

COMMUNITY COMES TOGETHER TO AID LEAPFAIL VICTIMS
Deltis Keep – Every month, hundreds of adventurers waste countless hours at the bottom of chasms due to leapfail, a debilitating condition that causes frustration and, in some cases, rage. To counter this, various members of the Adventurer’s Guild have been offering support to the afflicted, providing advice and information to aid them in successfully crossing large gaps and chasms.

GATHERING STORM ‘COMPLETE TRANSPARENCY’ RECRUITMENT DRIVE A SUCCESS
Laying it all out on the table has proven the right track for Freya Fade, leader of Gathering Storm, and publisher of the union’s straightforward and entertaining recruitment post.

“I’m not going to lie to you, because I care about you(r bonds). I’ll probably mostly ignore you since I’ll be busy advancing myself like a warrior and not some sniveling wretch, but as a result you won’t have to deal with awkward conversations with strangers too frequently.”

Brutal honesty of this nature has historically been countered with criticism and animosity, but in Illfalo things are different. Replies were resoundingly positive, echoing sentiments of “Count me in” and “I like the sound of this union.” Adventurers interested in joining Gathering Storm are advised to read the full recruitment post available here.
